Steps on How to Add Text Notifications to Your Host Co Store

 

Available for Pro and Enterprise Users! 

Steps:

1. Access SMS Settings:
   • Go to the top right of your screen and select Account.
   • Scroll down and click SMS Text Notifications.
2. Enter Information:
   • Input your phone number and select the types of SMS notifications you want (e.g., request approvals, sales, news, feature updates).
   • Note: SMS is currently available only for US and Canada.
3. Save Changes:
   • Click Save.

To delegate a co-host on a product:

1. Edit Product Settings:
   • Navigate to the product you want to update (e.g., "Mid-Stay Clean").
   • Click the three buttons and select Edit Product.
   • Go to Product Settings in the upper right corner.
   • Scroll down to Notify Someone Else via Text and Email.
2. Add Co-host Contact:
   • Click Yes to add a contact.
   • Enter the co-host’s phone number and email address (US and Canada only).
   • Select the types of notifications for which they should receive text alerts (e.g., request approvals, sales).
   • Note: Including an email address is recommended as text messages alone might not provide enough information.
3. Save Changes:
   • Click Save.
   • You can edit or delete the co-host contact later by using the edit or delete buttons.
4. Mass Update (Optional):
   • If you want to apply the same settings across all your stores, use the mass update feature. Be cautious as it will update all related stores to match the current settings.

That's it! You've now set up SMS texting for yourself and your co-hosts.
