A pre-order product is an item that guests can order ahead of their stay. We offer date scheduling on these items so that you have enough lead time to fulfill the item.
Add a pre-order product
Create a product, and then select the option “No, I need notice ahead of time”. You can then specify how many days in advance guests must purchase the item. You can include instructions for guests on their receipts.
Guests select a date and purchase the item
During the shopping process, guests are prompted to select a date to receive their purchase. They receive a receipt with any instructions you may have added.
You receive an email notification when a purchase is made and 2 days before it’s due
After a guest makes a purchase, you’ll be notified via email when the guest chose to receive their product so you can plan accordingly. If you need to reschedule, you can work with the guest directly or cancel by emailing support@thehost.co
If a third party is involved, we will notify anyone you have added to be notified via email. We will also send a reminder 2 days in advance to you (and anyone else you chose to notify) as the due date for the item or service approaches.
