We're thrilled to integrate with Hospitable, where you can quickly create Host Co digital stores from your Hospitable properties in minutes, and share your store link in all your Hospitable outgoing messaging.
Here's a step-by-step walkthrough of how to integrate your Hospitable account with The Host Co:
CONNECTING HOSPITABLE TO THE HOST CO
- To begin creating Host Co stores from your Hospitable account, visit Hospitable's Integrations page and click on The Host Co tile. (Already a Host Co user? Click the Hospitable tile on The Host Co's Integration page.)
- Click "Get Started." If you're coming from Hospitable, create your free Host Co account now.
- After signup, connect your Hospitable account to your Host Co account by clicking "Get Started." Hospitable will then begin importing your listings to create Host Co stores.
SHARING YOUR STORE LINK IN HOSPITABLE MESSAGING
- After your listings have stores created for them, you'll need to share your store links in your Hospitable messaging so guests can purchase from your store. To do this, visit your Host Co stores. Click "Share Store" to copy your unique store link for each store.
- Under your store link, click the "Hospitable" logo to be taken back to Hospitable.
- Once you’re back in Hospitable, add your store links as upsell shortcodes (%upsell%). To do this, click “Properties,” then click on the property that matches that Host Co store link.
- Under that property, click “Details.”
- Scroll down to the “Upsells” field (%upsell%), paste your store link into that field, and save it.
- Do this for each individual property you have a matching store link for.
- Next, you'll need to paste your upsell shortcode (%upsell%) into your Hospitable messaging. (We recommend sharing your store link with guests at booking, one week before check-in, and at check-in.) In Hospitable, go to "Guest Experience" and click "Messaging rules."
- Add your shortcode and a brief description of your store to your outgoing messages.
We recommend adding something like, “If you’re interested in adding any amenities like massage, chef, or mid-stay cleaning, check out our store: %upsell%” - Save and switch on the message, and you're all set.
