HostCo is partnered with OwnerRez to help you easily offer services and products directly to your guests. This allows you to create a seamless upsell experience while increasing your revenue and improving guest satisfaction.
What This Feature Does
With HostCo, you can create a digital storefront connected to your rentals where guests can purchase add-ons such as:
- Local services like massages or private chefs
- Automated fees such as late checkouts or pet fees
- On-site upgrades like firewood or hot tub heating
- Custom services or products you choose to offer
You can also connect to a curated list of vetted vendors or add your own offerings.
HostCo handles support, inventory management, notifications, and payouts, so everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
How Guest Requests Work
Guests can browse your store and submit requests for services at any time.
- Payments are held for up to 7 days
- You receive the request and can approve or decline it
- Once approved, the payment is processed and you receive your payout
This gives you full control while keeping the guest experience simple and convenient.
Earnings and Fees
- You can keep between 93% and 100% of each sale depending on your plan
- A guest convenience fee is added at checkout to cover processing costs
- Many hosts generate significant additional revenue through upsells
How to Connect OwnerRez to HostCo
- Create a HostCo account on the HostCo website
- Log in and go to Partners
- Under OwnerRez, click Start Now
- Click Continue, then select Authorize to connect your account
- OwnerRez will begin importing your properties automatically
- Choose which properties you want to create stores for
- Click Create Stores
Your stores will be automatically created and pre-populated with services based on your location.
Customizing Your Store
Once your stores are created, you can:
- Edit services and pricing
- Add or remove products anytime
- Customize offerings per listing
- Join a demo session for setup guidance
Sharing Your Store with Guests
Each HostCo store is automatically linked to your OwnerRez account.
- Your store link is saved under a custom field called PX HostCo
- You can insert this into messages using the PX HostCo tag
- The correct store link will automatically populate per listing
You can share your store with guests:
- At the time of booking
- One week before check-in
- At check-in
Suggested Message Example
If you’re setting up automated messaging, you can include something like:
“Interested in adding amenities like massage, private chef, or mid-stay cleaning? Check out our store here: PX HostCo”
